This year’s Pepsi meet at the University of Oregon featured a dual meet between Oregon and Arizona. In the meet Elvin Kibet won the women’s 5000 and Jeramy Elkaim won the men’s, Nick Ross was victorious in the high jump, and Laura Roesler established a collegiate leading time in winning the 800.                                                                                                          Photos by Patrick Holleran

A big event at the Pepsi meet was defending NCAA 1500 champ Mac Fleet against multi-time NCAA champ Lawi Lalang in the 1500. In this meeting Lalang set the pace for much of the race but Fleet’s kick carried him to victory.                     Photos by Patrick Holleran and Phil Johnson

This year’s IAAF World Indoor Championships were held in Sopot, Poland. One of the biggest races of the meet was the men’s 3000 meter.  Celebrating outstanding performances in the event were (left to right) Bernard Lagat of the USA (2nd), Caleb Mwangangi Ndiku of Kenya (1st), and Dejen Gebremeskel of Ethiopia (3rd).
