NCAA Cross Country Championships and Cross-Country Season

November’s NCAA Cross-Country Championships resulted in victories for Dartmouth’s Abby D’Agostino and Oregon’s Robert Cheserek.

D’Agostino won her first title as a senior in her final try at the championship. She won the NCAA 5000 Meter Championship last spring.

Cheserek, a freshman, was victorious in his first try at the event. Cheserek trailed the defending national champion, Kennedy Kithuka, of Texas Tech during the middle of the race but quickly made up the deficit and won the race going away with a strong finish.
